June 6, 2010 [Day 6]..."RED" This is the name given to my bike 5 summers ago when I bought it (for obvious reasons). At the time, my beach house was all the way down First Ave (almost to the inlet), and it was a good mile or more to my friend's house next to O'Neill's. I had wanted a beach cruiser for years and finally had an excuse for one. And so the trend began. Now I am actually part of the house I spent so much time at, and there are at least 6 cruisers in the garage. This bike has brought me so much joy. Pure joy. It makes me feel like a kid, and I have a smile on my face whenever I am riding it. I love, love, love this bike!
I also got hit by a car on it once, but that's a whole other story.
